It’s heartening to report that Orton's 1960’s sendup of the mental health profession along with stabs at government, religion, literary aspiration, heterosexuality and homosexuality holds up very well. Orton once said: 'You must do whatever you like as long as you enjoy it and don't hurt anyone else,' and this mantra informed his life and work.
