"Dangerous Corner" by J.B. Priestley is a mystery-thriller with the added bonus of being a ghost story as well. The play has been moved from the early 1930's to the early 1960's and utilizes song from before that time period such as "My Funny Valentine" and "Smile" to name a few. Throughout the play we learn about sordid affairs, lies, thieves and murder, perhaps, as Robert pushes the cast of characters to delve into the past and find out the truth about his brothers suicide. There are songs, laughs and intrigue a plenty as we turn many dangerous corners to find out the truth and ultimately learn that it may be better to let 'sleeping dogs lie' then to be torn apart by the truth.
