Biography
Danny’s film directing credits include Monster Heroes still in post production and West of Brooklyn which he also directed on stage for Theatre 68. He directed and designed the Off-Broadway Hip-Hop sensation, Groovaloo He has production designed for film, TV and theatre including Final Witness(ABC/Disney), the ABC primetime special Unbroke, Liv Out Loud (Nicolodeon) and Get Up and Dance(Comcast). Music videos designs include Katy Perry's Candifornia Tour, Pink's European Tour, Carbon 9, Michael Duff, and Leo. Some notable stage designs include The Mercy Seat (Ford), The Knights of Mary Phagan (NAACP Award Nomination), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (2008 Ovation Award Nomination), the 13 By Shanley Festival (Theatre 68), A Few Good Men (LA premiere), The Lost Plays of Tennessee Williams (Actors Studio), On An Average Day (2008 Ovation Award Nomination, 2008 LA Drama Critics Circle Nomination), Parasite Drag (West Coast Premiere). Danny also doubles as Art Director/Performance Artist for the band Carbon 9. As an actor, Danny performed on Broadway in Gypsy, She Loves Me, Grease! and Jerome Robbins’ autobiographical workshop The Poppa Piece playing the young Robbins. National tours: Lost in Yonkers, Gypsy, and Grease!. Other theatre: Groovaloo, A Few Good Men, A New War, West of Brooklyn, What the Rabbi Saw, Boys Next Door, Eyes For Consuela, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Avenue X. On Television: Do Not Disturb, Malcolm in the Middle, That’s So Raven, Third Rock from the Sun, Martial Law and a recurring role on General Hospital. Film: Austin Powers III: Goldmember, Deuces Wild, Baby Luv, West of Brooklyn, Shock TV, Billy Jones, Chew and Screw, Limbo Lounge, No Place Like Home, and Frankenhood. He co-wrote and starred in the film Lucky which was selected for HBO's Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen featuring his sketch comedy group For The Kids, marking their second consecutive trip to the Festival.
