Biography
Harold earned a BFA through the prestigious School of Theatre at the University of Southern California after receiving a full four-year scholarship. He has since worked in almost every aspect of the theatre. He was named President of the Board of Directors of Actors’ Repertory Theatre at the Courtyard Playhouse in Palos Verdes, CA. During his five year tenure he was responsible for producing thirty five back-to-back productions - each with six-week runs. Some directorial credits at that time, include All My Sons, Best Wishes, and Catholic School Girls – which he produced, directed, designed set, lights, and sound, and ran the boards – for two runs, each run extended due to sold-out houses. In addition to his work in theatre, he has also served in the field of education as an Administrator, Teacher, and District Arts Mentor for a public school district. There, he produced, directed, and choreographed over 20 musical productions with students in grades K-8. Throughout the last three years he has been seen locally in numerous productions, including A Little Night Music, Annie, Parade, The Odd Couple, Candide, Working, and his favorite role to date, Dan, in Night Must Fall. Currently, he is in pre-production directing Oliver! playing at the Westchester Playhouse in Los Angeles. Oliver! runs March 16- April 21, 2012.
