Description:
The Elephant Theatre Company’s award-winning all-premiere 12th season wraps up with the world debut of Tony Foster’s ASLEEP ON A BICYCLE. Artistic Director David Fofi, who wowed SoCal audiences with his wildly-acclaimed West Coast premiere production of In Arabia We’d All Be Kings (four LADCC awards), and most recently Anything by Tim McNeil (GLAAD nominee) directs a cast that includes Elephant Company veterans. The production also taps the city’s hottest go-to designer, Joel Daavid, for this surreal comic romp. A trippy dreamscape that features a phantasmagoric Italian diva, an axe-happy Lizzie Borden wannabe, a talking cat, a back-to-the-future child, a martini-mad Mother (who ran off to "live in sin" with her best friend, a not-quite-ex-nun) … and more ….
