Description:
This visually stunning show is sure to transform any standard notion you may have of a puppet show. The NEW LATC brings the entire company, fresh off their tremendous success at the Guadalajara Festival, to delight Los Angeles audiences. Jacinto Canek, a young Mayan warrior, befriends Guy, the young descendent of Yucateco landowners.  Yet, despite the goodwill between them, Jacinto comes to realize he must engage in social warfare against the ruling class to protect the dignity and legacy of his indigenous community
