Biography

Lori’s love for the theatre began as a child growing up in New Jersey, where she acted in a wide variety of plays and musicals. After attending Boston University School for the Arts as a theatre major and graduating from UCLA with a degree in English, she landed her first job at CBS in New York City. Tired of cold winters, Lori left New York City where she was active in the theatre community to return to Los Angeles. She currently works as an actress, playwright and designer. She also continues to work in marketing for such entertainment clients as Disney, CBS, MGM and Harmony Gold. Lori started her own virtual agency over a decade ago, Jungle Group Productions, to promote her multimedia creations, art and writing. Her passions include acting, writing and illustrating children’s books, playing piano and guitar, composing music, creating videos, and most recently, turning her latest children’s book into a musical. Some of Lori’s favorite theatrical experiences include playing Emily in “Our Town” and Elizabeth in “The Crucible,” touring in the original musical, “A Stoop on Orchard Street,” and performing as an actress with the American Ballet Theatre in “Romeo and Juliet” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Lori currently resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to act in local theatre and pursue the work she loves.
