1. Make sure your production is eligible for Ovation Consideration. To do so, consult the eligibility rules in the Ovation Awards Rulebook.

2. If you are not already, become an Organizational Member of LA Stage Alliance here. Once your membership is activated, you will receive a producer's login and password to the LA Stage Alliance site.

3. Log in to LAStageAlliance.com and list your production on the site, including show information, performance dates & times, and all the artists working on your production in any capacity.

4. Allot at least 30 complimentary tickets to Ovation voters through the online interface, across at least 5 dates. Ovation voters can reserve these tickets through the online system - all you have to do is pull your reservation lists before each performance. (You can also choose to have your reservation lists automatically emailed to you.) At any time, you can adjust your allotments or move tickets to different dates, so long as you leave at least 30 in the system (including those already claimed by voters). You do not have to offer voters a free 'companion' ticket to go with their reservation, though most producers do on at least some performances.

5. Voters will attend your performances and score your production online following the show. Voters may use the complimentary tickets you offer, or may arrange tickets (by purchasing or otherwise) on their own and self-activate to vote on the performance. If they self-activate without using an official voter ticket, you will be notified that they are doing so as a safety precaution. (If for any reason you think a voter has activated and voted without seeing the production, please contact LA Stage Alliance immediately.)

6. That's all you have to do! Once voters have scored your production, the scores are kept secret and the nominees are calculated in September by the Ovation Awards Tabulators - Green Hasson Janks - and then the nominees are announced at the Ovation Awards Nominee Announcement. See you there!
