Mission

Over the Moon's purpose is to develop and produce both original and celebrated musicals and plays to the stage of the highest possible quality. Our goal is to deliver theatre to enrich, educate and entertain artists and audiences in order to make the Los Angeles public a more conscious and compassionate community.

History

Founded: 2010
Led by artistic director Kate Sullivan, Over the Moon was founded in 2010 and presented its very first show, Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize-winning RENT, in May 2011 in an abandoned warehouse in downtown Los Angeles.
