Robert E. Lee - Shades of Gray

Theatre 40
( 06/11/2012 - 08/22/2012 )
Running Time: 90 minutes

Tom Dugan, 2011 LA Drama Critics Circle Award Winner & 2011 Ovation Award Nominee, brings his new one-man show, "Robert E. Lee - Shades of Gray" to Theatre 40 for a limited engagement. Lee is noble, courageous, a brilliant tactician trained at West Point, and seasoned veteran of battle. He is a religious man, family man, anti-secessionist and anti-slavery. How did this man become the Confederate General, and why did he turn his back on the Union? “I could have taken no other course without dishonor….History books may say hard things of me, but books are printed in black and white, while life is lived in shades of gray.”
