Biography
Tom Dugan (Playwright/Actor) Mr. Dugan first appeared on television in the 1984 classic MTV video LEGS. His TV and Film credits include; BONES, FRIENDS, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, THE PRACTICE, CHICAGO HOPE, JUST SHOOT ME, KINDERGARTEN COP, DAVE, MARKED FOR DEATH, BILL AND TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, THE NAKED GUN, HELLRAISER IV, LEPRECHAUN III, STUART SMALLEY SAVES THE FAMILY, BEETHOVEN II and THE TRIAL OF OLD DRUM. On the Los Angeles stage Tom has appeared in THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER, THE VOICE OF THE PRAIRIE (Colony Theatre) DUBLIN CAROL (Ensemble Theatre), BLACK COMEDY (International City Theatre) and after a 25 year absence returned last summer to Theatre 40 as the intrepid Hercule Poirot in Bruce Gray’s critically acclaimed production of Agatha Christie’s BLACK COFFEE. Tom’s regional and touring credits include; FRIENDS LIKE THESE (with Donna Mills) MISERY (with Susan Rattan) and ON GOLDEN POND (with Jack Klugman). Most recently Mr. Dugan recreated his award winning portrayal of Antonio Salieri in AMADEUS at The California Theatre (San Bernardino). Tom is also an accomplished playwright whose critically acclaimed one-man shows OSCAR TO OSCAR, ROBERT E. LEE - SHADES OF GRAY, FREDERICK DOUGLASS - IN THE SHADOW OF SLAVERY (starring Broadway’s Mel Johnson Jr.) and NAZI HUNTER - SIMON WIESENTHAL have been produced in over two dozen cities across the United States. Tom currently lives in Woodland Hills, CA with his beautiful wife Amy and two little boys Eli and Miles.
