It is 1942 in German-occupied Vichy, France. Ten people wait in a shadowy detention room. Accused of being Jewish, they wait to see if they will be detained or set free. As the tension mounts layers of fear and self-deception are stripped away to reveal unexpected truths; truths which demand surprising acts of courage and compassion. In a world of darkness, what would you do to defend the light?
